Principal Areas of Research

Anthropology of the environment, local knowledge of nature, epistemology of relations between indigenous and scientific knowledge, knowledge and governance.

Interdisciplinarity - theory, practice and innovation.

My field research focuses on observations of changes in the management of species and spaces in the context of globalization, framed by an in-depth understanding of indigenous social organisation and systems of knowledge, know-how and representations amongst the Sami Norway and Sweden), Cree First Nations and Inuit (Canada).
